Halligan Ranch was listed in Smart Money magazine as one of the

best recreational hot spots for tourists in Central Oregon

Halligan Ranch is a 230 acre working llama and hay production ranch surrounded by Bureau of Land Management property on all four sides. The ranch is located 1 1/2 miles due West of the Pronghorn resort and seven miles from the Redmond airport. In December 2006, a Measure 37 claim application was filed with Deschutes County in the State of Oregon and is still pending.

The ranch consists of 230 acres with two homes and several outbuildings on this acreage and includes 27 +/- acres of Central Oregon Irrigation District irrigation rights. The irrigation canal from Hwy. 97 to the ranch has been piped underground to save loss of water.
